About Us

Situated in the foothills of Morrison, Colorado in Jefferson County, Morrison Home is a Specialized Therapeutic Group Home, licensed as a Residential Child Care Facility (RCCF) and Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) provider that offers long-term treatment and education services to children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in need of specialized services.  

The Morrison Home and school are licensed for ten male youth, ages 10-18 and 19-21 years of age under a Court Order. Morrison Home serves the varied intellectual, developmental, and social emotional needs of students by providing educational, hands-on, real-life experiences that will remediate, maintain, and improve academic, intellectual, and social functioning.

Morrison Home embraces a service model focused highly upon attachment and trauma-informed treatment. At Morrison we promote a warm, home-like setting that focuses on building healthy relationships between residents and caregivers. Morrison Home provides a strong staff-to-youth ratio and a supervision model that teaches and encourages caregivers to role-model healthy attachment styles and self-regulation, while conveying genuine and caring relationships and attitudes toward youth.
