Community Involvement

Morrison Home promotes community involvement amongst our students and staff. Strong community connections allows for our students to see the positive impacts of our first responders who support the program in ensuring student and community safety. Through our community involvement, our students can practice appropriate social skills and pro-social behaviors. Being involved in the local community allows for our students to build connections, gain new experiences, and view/ navigate the world with a safe, trusted adult. Our community involvement promotes accountability, safe behaviors, and the ability to be a kid.

Our youth are encouraged to actively seek and participate in volunteer activities that allow them “give back” to our communities. Morrison Home students volunteer at the Denver Rescue Mission, Food Bank of the Rockies, and the Denver Rescue Mission Warehouse.
